The FVC Research service provides analysis on structured products and equity markets. It is only open to UK financial professionals, membership is free of charge but subject to our terms and conditions. This service aims to provide indicative information about investments or equity markets, but market conditions may have changed since any report was written or analysis undertaken. We reserve the right to alter or terminate this service at any time. No liability whatsoever is accepted for any loss or expense incurred from using any part of this service and no part of the contents of this service constitutes advice nor should it be relied upon for any purpose.

We accept absolutely no responsibility for the use of this service by any user who retains all responsibility for the use, interpretation or assumptions about any material contained in this service. This research service is intended as general information only and does not constitute advice, recommendations or any contract with any user.

Future Value Consultants does not undertake to provide any service or to cover all and every relevant product. The service is offered as is and we do not undertake to enter into any discussion about scores or products. We reserve the right to decline or terminate membership of any user without notice or reason or to otherwise change the terms of this service.

Applications for use of the FVC research service is welcomed from financial professionals, however accepting applications is at the discretion of FVC. Membership is normally granted free of charge to authorised UK financial advisers and employees of contributing product provider companies. Applications from private investors are not allowed.

Privacy statement

FVC Research service is available free of charge to UK financial professionals and other invited parties. It is our intention that you use the site freely for your maximum benefit. We collect website usage data and may provide this data in aggregate to product providers (whose support makes this site possible). This means that a product provider will be able to see how many users are accessing web pages relating to their products. Under no circumstances will personal or individually identifiable information be made available to them.

All personal data is collected and stored in line with the Data Protection Act 1998. Any personal information that you provide to us will only be used for the purpose stated at the time we request it. This information will not be disclosed to a third party except where authorised by you or as otherwise permitted by the Data Protection Act. Your personal data that you have provided will not be sent to other third parties and will remain confidential.

FVC endeavours to cover as many suitable investments (structured products or other specialist investments) as possible. In order to bring this service free to IFA users, FVC operates a "partner programme" with provider companies. FVC charges a fixed fee (agreed in advance) to the provider for the research to be carried out and report to be written. However all reports, scores and calculations are conducted by FVC's experienced staff in accordance with our advanced and objective methodology, available exclusively for this website. This research methodology has been successfully operated by FVC since 1999 and has covered over 500 products and now has in excess of 4000 registered users.

FVC always welcomes approaches by telephone or email from provider companies for their products to appear on this service. FVC also appreciates any feedback or enquiries about product coverage from IFA and other users. Any list of products displayed (whether the complete list of products or any user-filtered list of products) and their scores and riskmap numbers represent general selections only. The head-to-head analysis is intended to give illustrations of two products against each other. All responsibility of ensuring correct selection of product for any given investor remains the responsibility of that investor's financial adviser and absolutely no liability is accepted by Future Value Consultants from the use of this system. The product monitor tracks products through their investment life. Information relevant to monitoring of products issued since report 317 can be viewed in this section of the website. FVC does not accept any responsibility for the accuracy of the information supplied on the product monitor. The information supplied is intended to be a useful guide and source of interest regarding products currently in-force yet to mature.
